4-year member of the team. Addy arrived to the 2020 season as the reigning Outdoor Varsity Conference Champion following his 2018 Outdoor Frosh/Soph Conference Championship. He finished the 2019 season in the #2 position of the team’s High Points earned. His success in the pole vault can be traced directly to his off-season work in the event. He was extremely conscientious in working with focus in the weight room, being aware of his diet, maximizing his speed, and becoming a student of every aspect of the pole vault. In this shortened season, his technique improved substantially resulting in clearing 12’8” (3.86m) securing the #4 position in the GBS All-Time best indoor performances for the pole vault.
In 40+ years of coaching the pole vault, Addy is among the very elite of those young people who invested and dedicated themselves to become the best pole vaulter they could be.
