The Glenbrook South boys cross country team delivered a strong performance at the CSL Conference Championship held at Deerfield High School, with the varsity team securing third place overall. The race, which took place over the weekend, saw competitive races across all levels, from freshmen to varsity. For many of our seniors, it was their final race as members of the team, and they left everything on the course. Ryan Taylor and William Fontana’s sub-16 performances were fitting tributes to their hard work over the years, and their teammates cheered them on as they crossed the finish line for the last time.

New Trier also took control in the JV division, placing five runners in the top six to secure a comfortable victory.
The freshmen and sophomore levels also saw some standout performances from Glenbrook South runners. In the sophomore race, the Titans' top finisher was Jack Silver, who crossed the finish line in 15th place with a time of 17:43.21. Glenbrook South’s focus now shifts to the IHSA Regionals, which they will be hosting on their home course this coming Saturday. The Titans will be looking to build on their conference performance and secure a spot in the Sectionals.
With momentum from a solid conference showing, Glenbrook South will aim to make a statement at Regionals, supported by a home crowd. All eyes will be on the varsity squad as they look to advance and continue their postseason journey.
