This past Saturday the boys traveled to Schaumburg high school for the Mikias Tibebu Invite. GBS took 1st at the frosh/soph level with a solid mile from Cole Branstrom (4:43) and a blazing fast 2 mile from William Fontana (10:49). Additionally, GBS took 5th at the varsity level in a stacked field of teams. Shoutout to Ryan Schaefer for his IL #1 performance in the 300m hurdles (38.74). This coming weekend the boys will take on Belvidere North, Conant, Crystal Lake Central, Elk Grove, New Trier, and Prospect at the annual Buffalo Grove B.A.T.E Invite this Saturday!
