This relay team broke the school and fieldhouse record in our 2nd meet of the season last Friday night. 1:13.4 for 4 x 160 meters. The fieldhouse record had been set in 1996 by a very good Wheaton Warrenville South squad (coached by alum Ken Helberg!) One of the relay runners also set the school and fieldhouse record for the Long Jump as well! What a great night for GBS Track and Field! Older alums probably find it hard to believe that we have had the fieldhouse for 31 years now....Luckily for me that has been my entire career. We have many great performances by some incredible athletes in that building. Thanks to coaches like John Davis, Dave Pasquini and AD Ron Helberg who pushed hard for the fieldhouse addition our athletes have benefitted from the wonderful facilities for over 3 decades now.
