Titan Distance Update (3/12)

Posted on March 13, 2020 by James Kurtzweil

At the time of publication, Glenbrook South and Northfield Township District 225 have announced the suspension of all after-school extra-curricular activities, including athletics, effective immediately until at least Sunday, April 5th, 2020.

At this time, Glenbrook South Track and Field were scheduled to compete at Batavia Distance Madness, Home Quad #4, CSL Indoor Conference Championships, Illinois Top Times, and the Palatine Triangular. At this time, the participation of Glenbrook South at these events has been cancelled. In addition to competitions, all official after school team practices have been cancelled for the time being.

This is a very unprecedented event for everyone involved. While we are all full of uncertainty, we can't let this impede our training. We ask that all athletes please stick as close to the training schedule as possible during these few weeks. We ask all athletes to please stay updated on team communication.

As a reminder, TitanDistance.com is not an official website of the school district. We are student-run and relay information from both the school and coaching staff. We do not have all the answers, and neither do many of the staff members. In this time of uncertainty, please be aware for official communication from Glenbrook South or Northfield Township District 225 staff. We have added a few links below to the District and Township's response to the illness.

Stay safe! Family First!
