As Boys Track & Field readies for the CSL Conference Indoor meet, GBS got wins in 11 of 15 events against Warren, Wheeling, Round Lake and Lake Forest Academy.
Individual winners included:
Tyrone Cotton's time of 5.4 sets the GBS Fieldhouse record for the 50 Yard Dash for the year and Patrick Kuprewicz's time of 7.3 ties the Fieldhouse record for the 2nd time this season. Great efforts!
In addition to our home meet, 6 athletes represented GBS in the Batavia Distance Madness Invite which featured the top distance runners in the Chicagoland area.
Ryan Taylor highlighted the night by smashing the Sophomore school record in the 1600 run with a outstanding time of 4:35.58. Congrats, Ryan!
This week GBS hosted the CSL Freshmen Invite on Monday, and will host the CSL Varsity and Sophomore Pole Vault competition on Wednesday. Friday the Titans travel to Evanston for the Varsity/Sophomore level CSL Indoor Championships.
