The GBS Track and Field season wrapped up this past weekend at the State Meet in Charleston. Although no Titans made it to Saturday’s finals I know we are all proud of their efforts and commitment to excellence throughout the year. Thank you to all the seniors for their dedication and hard work the past 4 years…Best of luck in the years to come!

I do need to make note of the incredible accomplishments by our conference rivals this past weekend. Congratulations goes out to New Trier HS for capturing the state title team title! The Trevians had 4 state champions (100-200-3200-TJ) and scored 45 points total. This is the first CSL team to win a state title since Evanston in 1979! Well done!

Additionally, Glenbrook North (4 x 200) and Evanston (4 x 400) both ran to relay victories to give our conference 6 state champions for the year. Intense competition on the North Shore this year!
